According to Ancient Astronaut Theorists, Tiahuanaco was built by Anunnaki Ancient Astronaut Gods.
For instance, a prominent feature of Puma Punku is a large stone terrace called the platform Allah Tikka containing the largest stone block found at Tiahuanaco has captivated Ancient Astronaut Theorists who regard this as evidence of the fact that Puma Punku was built by Aliens.
The block is estimated to weigh 131 metric tons, with the second largest block estimated to be 85 metric tons. Archaeologists argue that the transport of the stones was not done using Alien Technology as suggested by the Ancient Astronut Hypothesis.
Instead, movement of the stones this size was accomplished by the large human labor force at Tiahuanaco which would not require the use of any Alien Technology.
Several theories have been proposed as to how this labor force transported the stones as an alternative to the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis.
Although these theories remain speculative, two of the more common proposals involve the use of Llama skin ropes, and the use of ramps and inclined planes.
None of these theories have reached consensus within the mainstream disciplines and so cannot also be accepted as excluding the Anunnaki Alien Gods of the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis as the Architects of Puma Punku.
The Ancient Astronaut Presence At Puma Punku
Firstly, each stone at Tiahuanaco was cut to interlock with the surrounding stones and the blocks fit together like a puzzle forming load-bearing joints without the use of mortar.
The precision with which these stones at Puma Punku were cut to angles which created such perfect mortarless joints is indicative of a highly sophisticated knowledge of stone cutting with many of the joints so precise that not even a razor blade will fit between the stones at Tiahuanaco.
Much of the masonry is characterized by accurately cut rectilinear blocks of such uniformity that they could be interchanged for one another while maintaining a level surface. The blocks were so precisely cut as to suggest the possibility of prefabrication and mass production technologies.
The high level of advanced technology that would be required to produce the Stone Masonry seen at Tiahuanaco’s Puma Punku complex simply did not exist at the time the Site was allegedly built which has prompted the argument by Ancient Astronaut Theorists that Tiahuanaco and Puma Punka were built by the Alien Race known as the Anunnaki.
The dating of Puma Punku by Andean Specialists has also not excluded the possibility that Ancient Astronauts may have constructed Puma Punku.
A radio carbon date of Tiahuanaco’s Puma Punku Complex was obtained from organic material from the lower most and oldest layer of moundfield forming Puma Punku. From this dating, the initial construction of Puma Punku dates to 536 to 600 AD, with the mainstream general consensus being that Puma Punku is roughly 1500 years old.
However, Ancient Astronaut Theorists state that the use of radiocarbon dating on the soil underlying the stonework at Puma Punku does not date the actual stonework, and that soil may have no relation to the actual age of the Puma Punku complex at Tiahuanaco.
For this reason, the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis suggests that Tiahuanaco’s Puma Punku Complex may have existed during a vastly older period dating back to some 17,000 years ago.
The Anunnaki Gods according to Zechariah Sitchin’s Lost Realms had a presence in South America.
At Puma Punku, the Gate Of The Sun’s Astronomical Alignment to the Spring Equinox suggests that the people of Tiahuanaco used an Ancient Calendar introduced by the God Vera Kocha/Quetzelcoatl or the Plumed Serpent who is identified as the Anunnaki God Ningshizda in Zechariah Sitchin’s Earth Chronicles.
As such, the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis may explain some of the anomalies at the Puma Punku site at Tiahuanaco as evidence of the work Anunnaki God Quetzelcoatl based on his identity as Ningshizda his Sumerian Anunnaki counterpart.
This may help to deal with the inconsistencies that arise with the current standard dating of between 1,500 to 2,000 years of the Puma Punku Complex at Tiahuanaco that excludes the Ancient Astronaut Theory.
