According to the Ancient Astronaut theory, the Gods of Egypt were Anunnaki Alien Astronauts from the Planet Nibiru.
The discovery of the Egyptian Pyramid Texts at Saqqara provide a window into Ancient Egyptians’ understanding of their own History and that of their Gods as Alien Ancient Astronauts.
According to Ancient Astronaut Theorists, this discovery may suggest that Gods of Egypt recorded were actually the Alien Ancient Astronaut Gods referred to as the Anunnaki by Zechariah Sitchin.
Standard Historical Understanding Of The Pyramid Texts
The current standard Historical understanding of the History of Ancient Egypt does not consider the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis and the possibility that the Ancient Gods of Egypt were a Race of Aliens from another Planet.
In standard Egyptology, Ancient Egypt’s History can be traced to an era of Gods who reigned for about 17 500 years before the first Human Pharaoh, Menes.
From the Rule of Menes, conventional Egyptian History has been divided into a series of Kingdoms from the Early Dynastic to the Graeco-Roman period, and Egyptian History from the era of Menes to the Graeco-Roman period is accepted as Historical fact.
Nevertheless, the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis claims that the Ancient Egyptians themselves regarded the era of the Gods as actual History and not myth.
For this reason, the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis states that the Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Texts are a record of actual Historical events about the days the Race of Alien Ancient Astronauts known as the Anunnaki roamed the Egyptian Skies and walked its Sands.
The Era Of The Alien Ancient Astronaut Gods In Ancient Egyptian History
According to Sitchin’s Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis, the era of The Alien Gods in Ancient Egypt which is recorded in Ancient Egypt begins with Ptah who following the Great Deluge of antiquity, built the Kingdom of the Nile Valley by carrying out Dyking works that raised mounds of Earth from the post-deluge marshes.
The Anunnaki God Ptah was succeeded by Ra who then fathered Osiris and Seth.
The conflict between the Alien Ancient Astronaut Gods of Ancient Egypt which has been described by Zechariah Sitchin as the First Anunnaki Egyptian Pyramid War also appears from the Ancient Egyptian Records at Saqqara where we learn of the story of the Alien Gods of Egypt including amongst others, the death of the Osiris, the birth of Horus and the reign of Horus over Upper and Lower Egypt.
Horus’ reign was followed by a series of God-Kings until the reign of Menes, the first Human Pharaoh marking the end of the rule of the Alien Ancient Astronaut Gods of Egypt and the beginning of the early Dynastic period which forms part of conventional Egyptian History.
Is It True That Ancient Egypt Was Ruled By Anunnaki Ancient Alien Astronaut Gods?
One of the most interesting connections that may support the idea that Ancient Egypt was ruled by Alien Anunnaki Gods is the generally accepted name of the most sacred Egyptian Cult Centre at Heliopolis which was called Annu.
At Annu, the first Obelisk was erected, and it was capped with the Ben Ben Stone which according to tradition had come aboard the Sky Boat of Ra in the earliest days of Ancient Egypt.
In addition, Ancient Egyptian Records talk about that the journey of Ptah to Egypt which Sitchin’s Ancient Astronaut Theory claims is supported by the Sumerian records about the events after the Great deluge.
Furthermore, Sitchin goes on further to state that according to the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis, the Sumerian records provide an account of the division of the Earth into 4 Anunnaki Regions after the Flood, one of which was in the Nile Valley and awarded to Anunnaki God Enki which would explain the origins of Ancient Egypt in Ptah’s journey and dyking works in Ancient Egypt.
Moreover, the Seth and Osiris conflict leading to Horus’ reign can also be used to understand the role of the King in Egyptian Cosmology.
In Egyptian Cosmology, the Pharaoh was regarded as the actual living God Osiris, who upon his death would journey to rejoin the other Gods at Home in the Orion Constellation.
For this reason, the role of the Orion Constellation in Egyptian Cosmology is important in understanding the construction of the Pyramids.
According to Sitchin’s Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis, the tradition of mummification stems from the initial mummification and resurrection of the Alien Anunnaki God Osiris by Isis who was also an Alien Anunnaki Goddess after Osiris had been killed by Anunnaki Rival God Seth in the First Pyramid War recorded at Saqqara, which according to Zechariah Sitchin’s Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis, are actually a record of the Alien Anunnaki conflicts in the Nile Valley for control of the Giza Spaceport that had been rebuilt at Giza following the destruction of the first Spaceport in Sumer during the great deluge.
As such, the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis claims that Ancient Egyptian records read together with the Sumerian records suggest that there is some basis for considering the idea that Alien Beings known as the Anunnaki ruled Egypt at some point in its Ancient History before the Rule of Human Pharoahs was established.
Annu, the Ancient Egyptian name of the first and most important Egyptian Cult Centre at Heliopolis bears such a close resemblance to Anu the Supreme Sumerian Anunnaki God, and the Anunnaki his representatives on Earth, that it may provide some credibility for the links Ancient Astronaut Theorists and others have made between the Alien Gods of Ancient Egypt and events in Sumer.
However, it is also possible that Zechariah Sitchin misinterpreted Egyptian Texts such as the Tera Neter Tile dating back to 3 400BC which refer to the Anu People of Ancient Egypt as Gods Of The Earth to mean Egyptian Ancient Astronaut Gods when they were actually referring to the first indigenous inhabitants of Ancient Egypt.
In addition, the long chronology of Kings leading up to Menes is probably a reference to the Nubian Pre-Dynastic Rulers of Egypt that can also be found at Abydos Temple.
There is no need to disregard this possibility in favour of the idea that the Egyptian Kings referred to in the Pyramid Texts are Ancient Astronauts rather than the people of the Prototype Kemite Anu Culture from the Nile Valley who actually inhabited the area and laid the foundations of Dynastic Egypt with the Ta-Seti Civilization, Egypt’s predecessor and regarded as the world’s oldest Civilization dating back circa 3 800 BCE.
Moreover, Archaeological evidence exists demonstrating the gradual process undergone by the Ancient Egyptians in learning how to build Pyramids beginning with simple Pre-Dynastic Pit Burial Tombs, single storey Mastaba, to the Step Pyramid at Saqqara until the Giza Pyramid complex was finally constructed circa 2500 BC.
This casts some doubt on the idea that the Gods of Egypt were Anunnaki Alien Astronauts from the Planet Nibiru.
